Putting up a new office building, and demolishing two other buildings, were discussed at Thursday's Kewanee Park Board meeting.
The board for several years has talked about the need for a new space for the park district offices.
A small building east of the Baker Park clubhouse housed the offices for years, but four years ago that building was abandoned because of structural problems.

Cambridge village officials got the results they were looking for when a 75-page engineer's traffic study concluded that a turn lane will not be needed for a new entrance off the east side of Route 82 south of Route 81 for a commercial park.
The report now goes to the Illinois Department of Transportation, and the village expects to hear back from state officials whether they have a project by the end of April or start of May.

Illinois will host two NIT games in Assembly Hall if the Illini keep advancing.
With a win over Kent State, the Illini would host the Cincinnati-Dayton winner on Wednesday with a trip to Madison Square Garden and the NIT semifinals on the line.
The Illini played at Stony Brook because Assembly Hall was booked with Cirque du Soleil this week.

The foundation held its annual recognition reception to honor those who have provided support to the foundation or the campus, as well as the community, during the past year.

The Republican Women of Henry County invite area women to join them at a Spring Membership Brunch on Saturday.
The brunch will be at the Senior Citizens Room at the Geneseo Community Center, 541 E. North St., in Geneseo beginning at 10 a.m.
Members, friends and prospective members will hear of the group's plans for the coming months during the brunch.

The 34th annual meeting of the Galva Senior Citizens Center was held March 10, with Director Carolyn Ossian offering her annual report.
Mrs. Ossian thanked all of the hostesses for all of their time at the center, making it possible for her to have time for herself.
She also thanked Evie Hier for doing all shopping, attorney Mike Massie and Vicki Massie for all of their counsel to the center free of charge, Harold Smith for mowing and DeRollo Kelly for taking care of the trash weekly.
